Whether you're hosting a classroom activity, building a game for your livestream, organizing a company giveaway, or just adding some excitement to a party, having your own personalized wheel makes the moment feel special.

In this guide, we’ll walk through the entire process of creating your own custom wheel—from adding your first panel to applying images, colors, and weights.

Step 1: Start a New Custom Wheel

Begin on the home page and click the neon button labeled “Create New Custom Wheel”. After you give your new wheel a name, a basic wheel with two starter panels is instantly generated so you can begin editing right away.

Each panel is completely customizable, and you can add up to 100 panels as needed to match your activity or event.

Step 2: Add or Edit Panels

Inside the Customize Wheel panel, each row represents one segment of the wheel. You can:

Change the panel text
Upload an image for that segment
Apply a color background
Adjust its weight (how likely it is to be selected)
Remove panels

Tip: If you want a perfectly balanced wheel, set all weights to “1”. If you want one option to appear more often, increase its weight.

You can change the text on any of the panels to suit your specific needs. Simply type your desired word or phrase in the appropriate text box.

Every change previews instantly on the spinning wheel so you always know what the final result will look like.

Step 3: Customize Appearance with Colors and Images

One of the most striking features of the Random Prize Wheel is the brilliant neon color palette and the ability to add images. You can customize every panel using:

Solid neon colors
Custom text
An uploaded image
A combination of text and image

If you completely delete all of the text on a panel and upload an image instead, the image will be centered on the panel. Otherwise, the text and the image will share the space evenly.

Whether your design is subtle or bold, you can match your event’s theme with just a few clicks.

Step 4: Save Your Wheel

Once you’re happy with your design, click the Save button to store the wheel in your account. Saved wheels appear in the My Wheels menu —where you can load, rename, duplicate, or delete them anytime.

Note: Saving requires a free user account. If you haven’t signed in yet, you’ll be prompted to create one.

Step 5: Spin and Enjoy!

With your wheel set up, you’re ready to spin! Use the neon SPIN button to start the animation. If you enabled confetti, sound, or popups in the Settings menu, those will activate automatically when the wheel lands on a winner.
