Images are one of the best ways to make your prize wheel stand out. Whether you’re creating a classroom activity, a game-night spinner, a YouTube stream tool, or a prize selector for an event, adding icons and pictures can instantly bring your wheel to life.
Random Prize Wheel makes image handling simple, flexible, and fast. This guide explains every image-related feature—from uploading and previewing to removing and controlling layout behavior.
To add an image, look in the Customize Wheel panel to the left of your wheel. Each panel row has an image box on the right side. Click that box to upload an image from your computer or device.
Once an image is added, the wheel automatically adjusts how it is positioned based on whether the panel has text.
This auto-layout ensures your wheel always looks clean and readable— no matter what combination of text and graphics you choose.
It can be difficult to determine which image is on which panel after they have all been uploaded. To assist with this, on desktop devices, you can view an image by hovering over any image box in the Customize Wheel panel. A small preview pops up, letting you see which image occupies which panel.
This is especially helpful when uploading multiple icons or similar graphics.
To replace an image, simply click the existing image in the Customize Wheel panel. You’ll be prompted to choose a new one.
The new image appears instantly on the wheel, and your previous one is removed automatically.
Removing an image is just as simple. If a panel currently has an image, right-click it in the Customize Wheel panel to delete it.
Once deleted, the wheel immediately recalculates layout and returns the panel to text-only mode.
When a panel includes both text and an image, the wheel uses a balanced layout that keeps everything readable:
This is ideal for prize names followed by icons, food choices followed by pictures, or even random-draw wheels with both label and visual cue.
For the clearest results:
The wheel engine automatically handles size and positioning, but better source images will always give a cleaner result.
When you save the wheel, all images are stored directly in your wheel data as encoded files. That means:
Any wheel you save with images will always look the same when you open it later.
